The Springfield Township Volunteer hose Company was established in the winter of 1946. The Department was started with 24 charter members. It is located in Mill Run Pennsylvania, Fayette County. There are now over 100 members on the books with about 25 maintaining an active status. The department has equipment and personnel trained to respond to structure fires, vehicle accidents, medical assists, physical rescues, and hazardous materials emergencies.
